The Crystal VST plugin by Green Oak is a free software synthesizer featuring both subtractive synthesis and frequency modulation (FM) synthesis. Crystal has 3 oscillators (voices) offering both virtual analog and sampled sounds, and the possibility to load soundfonts. Each oscillator features a multistage filter- and an amplitude envelope with graphical editors. The VST plug-in features 6 modulation envelopes and 6 LFO's, all easily assignable in the modulation matrix, and a mixer section with several native effects.
