Luftikus is a digital adaptation of an analog EQ with fixed half-octave bands and additional high frequency boost. As an improvement to the hardware it allows deeper cuts and supports a keep-gain mode where overall gain changes are avoided.

Musical EQ plugin

The Luftikus VST Plugin by lkjb can inject new life into even the dullest tracks! Since the frequency bands are fixed this equalizer is not designed for surgical precission adjustments. Rather it's a musical EQ plugin well suited for adding character and coloring to to your mix. Add it to your vocal track, your drum bus, or any other top end that you want boosted, and Luftikus will add that extra silky air to your mix without any artifacts or harshness.
The Luftikus plugin is equally suited for adding a pleasant warmth to a kick drum or bass. The signal of the tone is shaped slightly and subtle saturation and harmonics are created. The very usefull 'keep gain' switch can be turned on to ensure that the overall volume of the sound stays the same. It is available for both Mac and Windows in 32 and 64-bit.
